NARAHAN - A Precious Green Realm of Bihar

Green - This is the color of Narahan, A village lying in the outskirts of the state of Bihar, and sharing its borders with the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh. Amid rustlings winds and surrounded by Kaimur hill ranges, this place has its own shades of beauty. Be it the early morning dew-drop on the leaves or acres of lush green fields dancing on the tunes of wind. The fresh air which can rejuvenate the inner soul or the pious chants which can be heard coming from the temples. There are dozens of incredible definition of beauty which can be found in this place, My Narahan - My beautiful inspiration.

Being a suburban rural village, agriculture is the main profession of the people. But what surprises the most is that they are not behind in any other field as well. Be it defence, administration, technology, medicine, just name it and you will find the marks of people from Narahan there. Such is the strength of this place.

The soil of "Narahan" inculcates in it the richness of nature. Making it vastly fertile. The extent of fertility lies in the fact that almost every crop can be grown here. Be it Paddy, sugar, sunflower, mustard or peanuts. But the major share is covered by paddy fields. Walking through the paddy fields, you will come to know the hard work and affection of a farmer growing the paddies. He nurtures the crops with his utmost care and devotion. The result of which comes in the form of rice which is known by its beautiful fragrance. The very incense of this rice attracts customers from near and far. Rice from Narahan is exported to various cities of India. It will not be any wrong calling it mini rice belt of India.

So folks, to enjoy the richness of nature, the lush hues of green, the rejuvenating fresh air and a full plate of scented rice, you are always welcome in my village- My Narahan.

  3. According to Gandhi ji villages represent the real beauty of India.Though we reside in multi polis but inner peace can never be bought. It can only be attained in the places where farmers shed their sweat and blood to feed India.
